1 Killed, 2 Severely Hurt At Point Pleasant Beach Boat Race: Reports
One person was killed and two were severely injured while the Point Pleasant Beach Grand Prix race was getting underway on Sunday, according to reports.
The boat races have been canceled for the rest of the day following the crash, and News12 was told the crash happened near Bay Head during the small boat preliminary eve
News12 reported that people appeared somber as they heard the news while sitting on the boardwalks and the beaches.
The event is sponsored by the host club — The New Jersey Powerboat Racing Association — which has been the host club since the race began more than 40 years ago in Point Pleasant Beach. Source http://bit.ly/2r6y1EW
