Bay City is back “Rockin The River”
Tim Seebold and crew are heading back out on the road for the 2019 NGK F1 Powerboat Championship Series. They have announced that Bay City, MI will host one of the main events of the summer on the tour. The F1 Powerboat Championship Series picked Bay City due to its world-class shopping, hospitality, riverfront parks, and marinas. This year’s event brings back not only all the favorite race teams from the past but a contract with CBS Sports and Motor Trend on Demand to televise the race! This summer over 671 million households will be watching the event worldwide!
The 2019 Bay City Rockin The River is proud to welcome the J HYDRO class to this years event!
J Hydro (support class) Speed: 40 mph Engine: 9.9 hp J Hydro class was integrated into the series as an outlet to train and groom our youth into the future racers of America. Kids, ages 9–16, can learn the basics of racing through experience in these 12′ knee rider boats propelled by 9.9 hp outboard engines. Knowledge of the sport is gained in a comfortable environment with constant, constructive guidance and direction from all involved. All the propellers are owned by the series with the small driver’s picking each weekend propeller by lottery to keep a level playing field among themselves.
We are excited to welcome the racers of the future to Bay City, MI!
