It’s time for the 49th annual Jaycees Boat Regatta and Festival in Lock Haven, a river festival featuring outboard motorboat APBA boat racing, a street carnival with amusement rides, food, arts and crafts fair, vendors, fireworks, live bands, and more.

Friday, Aug 30
6 to 10 p.m. — Midway, rides, arts and crafts (7 to 10 p.m.) — Trip The Light: Music presented by the Lock Haven Area Jaycees
Saturday, Aug. 31
10 a.m. — Opening speaker on the judges’ stand at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheatre with 76th State District Representative Stephanie Borowicz
10 a.m. to dusk — Boat races
10 a.m. to 10 p.m. — Midway, rides, arts and crafts areas (noon to 10 p.m.) Entertainment throughout the day.

Rt. 80 to 220 North, go about 8 miles to Lock Haven exit, follow to Bridge St., crossover bridge, make a right turn into pits.

Interstate 70 to Wheeling, Exit 1A. Turn onto Rt. 2 (Main Street) south. Go to approx. one-half mile to 12th Street, turn right to Heritage Port.

Course: Vintage only, all classes of inboards except unlimited. Vintage outboards welcome but must be able to crane launch.

Course:
SO/MOD/J either 3 or 4 laps per heat, will be announced at the drivers meeting. Approx 3/8 mile course. Not approved for records.
