Drivers across Europe are clearly not happy since the course has a deadly history and has claimed the lives of some of the biggest names in the sport across Europe as its victims. Discussion on Facebook this morning notes that it’s not official and urges drivers to stay calm until the official dates are released. Nonetheless, it caused a stir on social media as drivers speculate whether or not this might happen.

This is not the first fatal incident resulting from the Traben-Trarbach speedboat race. In 2016 Massimo Rossi, two time world champion, lost control of his boat and flew onto the embankment and hit a tree. The 24 year old died from his injuries.
