Hello, all –

We hope you all have been able to stay safe and healthy through these past few months.

As the date approaches, we know there have been many questions about 2020 Black Lake Regatta/ Summer Nationals.
Our Board of Directors have been meeting continuously to weigh and consider all angles of our current circumstances, as well as our desire for all of us to get on the water. We have been working together and taking many factors into account. Not only the struggles presented in our state’s phased plan for safety and health concern and restrictions but also the severe hardships felt throughout our communities and businesses we partner with to help bring our events together.

This has brought us to the unfortunate decision to cancel this year’s Black Lake Regatta.
Rest assured, while we know this is not the news many were hoping for – we have not given up on the chance to bring you your 2020 Summer Nationals!
We have graciously been granted the opportunity to move our Nationals race to our 2020 ‘Hydros for Heros’ event in Oak Harbor, WA on September 12-13th.
We are very thankful for all involved in helping this move forward and are looking towards a brighter future!

We thank you for your patience through this time and for giving us the chance to make the best decision possible on behalf of our club, our racers, and our racing community.

See you all in 2021!!
