Powerboat racing in the UK still on hold due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions

Via Lowestoft & Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club

Please see the latest CPA bulletin regarding the suspension of racing activities in the UK.

Unfortunately, the season is now ticking away and the next “Zoom meeting” will be the final conclusion of whether or not racing will happen in 2020. With large associated costs and still a lot of preparation for racing to happen everyone will have a final answer of yes or no in 4 weeks.

We have seen numerous recent social media posts surrounding the reintroduction of other sporting activities but one key fact that has to be considered and acknowledged is that powerboat racing rescue teams/volunteers have to work within the 2mtr social distance guidelines which we all know is an impossible task.

Stay safe everyone 💪😷
