It’s the thrill of the racetrack – without the drivers. At the Indy Autonomous Challenge in Las Vegas, university teams from all over the world compete with self-driving cars. The cars are mechanically identical, but the algorithms behind the wheel make all the difference. NBC News’ Jacob Ward takes us there.
