Brazoria County, TX – Authorities are investigating after a 3-year-old boy was attacked by a family dog in Brazoria County on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:20 p.m., and the child suffered injuries to his legs and back. While the wounds were non-life-threatening, the boy was transported to the hospital via Life Flight due to the severity of the injuries.

Investigation Details

According to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, two dogs were in the home at the time, but it’s unclear whether both animals were involved in the attack.

Both dogs have been placed in the custody of Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office Animal Welfare for further investigation.
