Race Day Live (Clayton County, GA) – The cause of death for TikTok user Jiare Schneider has been disclosed more than a month after his body was discovered in a forested area of Georgia.
Schneider, 31, was discovered dead on November 26 – ten days after he was originally reported missing to authorities.
According to TMZ, Clayton County officials verified that the content creator died from injuries incurred when his automobile collided with a tree, and that it was an accident.
The father of one, who had a prominent social media persona on Instagram and TikTok called @Big_Homie_TooTall, was reported missing in mid-November.
Schneider went missing after visiting a neighboring strip club on November 15. Days later, his family discovered his death in a crashed silver Toyota 4Runner in the woods about 1 p.m., according to FOX5 Atlanta.
“A group of us gathered, and we came out here, and we went to the woods … and there he was,” the social media star’s friend Germequa Bell told the outlet at the time.
“We knew when he disappeared that something was up.”
Schneider’s relatives reportedly informed officials that his body might have been located.
“Our officers received a call from friends and family of Jiare Schneider, who’s been missing from Forest Park,” Clayton County Police Department spokesperson Lt. Ricky Porter told the outlet.
“Preliminary investigation suggests the vehicle traveled westbound across Brown Road, through overgrowth and into a tree at the rear of the property.”
The area where his body was discovered is around 25 minutes from the content creator’s home, according to officials. He was also a few hundred yards away from a “content house” that he had apparently visited earlier in the night, according to the website.
Schneider’s family were concerned when they discovered he hadn’t called his kid in a few days, which was unusual for him.
Their concerns were heightened when Schneider failed to post any social media content on any of his profiles for more than a week.
