7-year-old Groped by Fiend in Broad Daylight in Houston Neighborhood; Authorities Looking for Suspect

Race Day Live (Houston, TX) – In the Woodland Heights neighborhood, officers from the Houston Police Department are searching for a man who attacked a 7-year-old girl while she was going home from school.

HPD stated the attack occurred just after 3 p.m. on Jan. 27.

While the girl was strolling in the 800 block of Omar Street, they said that the male “inappropriately grabbed and touched” her.

The individual was clearly seen on video by home security and doorbell cameras in the vicinity. He was dressed in a camouflage jacket, a white tank top, and blue trousers. He also had on a black baseball cap with a flat brim, which may have had a Chicago White Sox insignia on it. He has a huge frame and a mustache that is dark and unique.

He was seen strolling and jogging on Watson Street and Reagan Street, which are close to where the attack took place.

Authorities revealed video footage from a nearby house that shows the man following the girl around the time of the assault. KPRC 2 chose to blur the victim, as well as the other people seen in the tape.

Authorities are requesting that anyone who lives in the vicinity examine their house cameras for any additional sightings of this man.
