A Breezy Cold Front Brings Lower Temperatures to Arizona and California

A dry cold front will move over the region late Monday, bringing strong winds and a considerable drop in temperature. Expect above-average temperatures today and tomorrow.

With highs in the low 70s over the lower deserts and the mid-60s in higher elevations.

On Tuesday, temperatures will fall to near normal as winds kick up, particularly in southeastern California and the lower Colorado River Valley, with gusts reaching 35 mph.

By Wednesday, expect cool mornings with lows near freezing in some desert locations. Dry air will dominate, keeping temperatures warm by the end of the week, with highs 3-5 degrees above average.
