Shocking Airport Scene: Man Stripped Naked at Indianapolis Airport, Now Jailed

A man from South Carolina who stripped naked at a security checkpoint at Indianapolis International Airport has been sentenced to over two years in federal prison.

Traveling can lead to some unexpected encounters, but for those at Indianapolis International Airport on July 15, 2023, one moment will likely stick with them forever — and not for a good reason.

Man Strips Naked at Indianapolis Airport

According to Fox 59, George Stevens, 38, of South Carolina, was going through security when TSA officers asked him to step aside for a pat-down.

Court records show that Stevens appeared intoxicated, acted uncooperatively, and called the officer a “freak” during the search, particularly when the area around his groin was being checked.

Things escalated quickly when Stevens pulled down both his pants and underwear, exposing himself to everyone nearby.

He then shook his backside at the officers and even threw his underwear at a supervisor.

Stevens ended up completely naked in front of passengers, including families with children, before being arrested. He was charged with security interference and assaulting a federal officer.

Stevens Pleads Guilty and Faces Prison Time

John E. Childress, acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Indiana, stated that such lewd and aggressive behavior toward security staff will not be tolerated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Earlier this week, Stevens pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison. Court documents also revealed that he has previous convictions for domestic violence and firearm-related offenses.
