Houston – A lady has been charged in connection with a shooting incident on Tuesday. Alexus Dominique Bonner, 29, is now being held in the Harris County Jail on an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon allegation.

Houston police said the incident happened at 12:50 a.m. in the 9900 block of Bissonnet when two groups argued near the pumps. The altercation erupted, prompting a woman to intercede and eventually shoot the man in the neck. During the inquiry, authorities discovered evidence that pointed to a potential female suspect. They later learned of a hospital visit in which a woman reported being abused and admitting to shooting a man at a nearby petrol station.

Bonner was recognized as the culprit, and investigators took a statement from her while she was being treated for a head injury. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was notified, prompting the accusations against her.
