At a campground in Monson, Massachusetts, on Sunday, a vehicle made a mistake and drove into the pool, narrowly missing some swimmers, according to the police. This was a close call.
According to a post on the Facebook page of the Monson Police Department, when officers arrived at the Sunsetview Farm Camping Area on Town Farm Road just before two o’clock in the afternoon, they discovered a red SUV that was buried in the pool where the campground was located.
The police reported that there were no injuries, which is a relief.
The vehicle appears to have crashed through a fence that surrounded the in-ground pool, as evidenced by photos that were uploaded to the Facebook page of the police department. The photos show the vehicle submerged in the water.
This accident’s cause is not entirely apparent at this time. Additional information has not been made public by the police.
