A woman from Tennessee who was charged with aggravated assault at Walmart is free on bond after having been on a Bravo TV show.
Diamond Tankard, 21, was caught on Saturday at a Walmart Supercenter in Antioch, a suburb of Nashville. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and theft. An arrest affidavit says that Tankard was seen on store cameras on Friday reportedly hitting another woman in line for the register of the store. Tankard used a “sock filled with rocks” as a weapon, according to the accused victim’s grandmother, who saw the fight and told police so.
The affidavit says that cops went to the Walmart after the assault was reported. Tankard “came from behind” the victim while she was using the self-checkout machine, “grabbed her by the hair, and began to assault her,” according to the cops. After what looked like an attack, Tankard is said to have taken the woman’s $1,500 iPhone and $900 Louis Vuitton handbag.
The woman had a cut on her face above her left eye, according to the police. The grandmother of the woman told cops that Tankard hit her granddaughter with a “sock full of rocks.”
The woman was taken to the hospital and had stitches put in.
Tankard was caught by the Metro Nashville Police Department on Saturday and put in jail. He was charged with theft and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. On the same day, she put up a $25,000 bond. The next time she has to go to court is August 22.
