Large trees fell on houses in Trenton, New Jersey, as a result of the strong winds that the area experienced. This caused quite a bit of damage. It was seen by neighbors that the winds were picking up extremely quickly.
A big tree that was falling down Newell Avenue in Trenton on Friday night caused damage to two homes.
Someone named Troy Livingston, who lives on the opposite side of the street, stated that he was grilling when the black clouds began to come in and the wind began to pick up.
“It was just a single gust of wind,” Livingston added.
In the very next instant, he stated that the tree had fallen.
“Before it started raining, we just heard a weird sound,” he explained to reporters.
On the scene, firefighters and city personnel were evaluating the damage that had occurred.
Currently, there is no one residing in the homes.
On the other hand, Livingston mentioned that his sister had formerly resided in one of them, but she had only recently moved out a week ago.
It was also reported by neighbors that this was not the first time a tree had fallen on their street during the summer.
A tree allegedly fell on their vehicles in the month of June.
“Because they are hollow, they suddenly fell, and it didn’t even begin to rain at that point.” “The wind was the culprit,” Livingston explained.
The residents who were present at the time of the tree’s fall and who were also on vacation expressed their relief that no one was wounded.
