The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting death of a kid in Hogans Creek on Saturday afternoon.
According to JSO, police responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Venus Mars Court at about 3:56 p.m.
A juvenile male was discovered and shot. He was rushed to the hospital, where he eventually died.
JSO claims to have a witness in custody who is cooperating.
Officers have not classified the shooting yet. There is also no suspect information available.
