On Tuesday, an 18-year-old male was arrested after allegedly beating a family member to death.
According to an Erlanger Police spokeswoman, officers responded to the first reports of an active assault in Northern Kentucky at 2 p.m.
When cops arrived, they discovered the suspect, Wyatt Tillerman, 18, outside the home and detained him without incident.
Cheri Oliver, 74, was discovered inside the home with head trauma and taken to a Cincinnati hospital, where she died of her injuries.
According to a spokeswoman, police determined that the incident was the result of a family quarrel.
Tillerman is accused with murder.
According to online jail records, he is now housed at the Kenton County Detention Center.
