SSI Direct Payments Will Arrive on the Same Day as Snap Benefits in These States

Some SSI (Supplemental Security Income) participants may also receive SNAP assistance. When you’re on a tight budget, whether or not you get your money the same day might make a big difference.

In reality, there is good news for SSI recipients: they will receive two payments in November. Obviously, one for November and one for December, both of which must be sent in advance by November 29, 2024.

SSI payment and SNAP benefits on November 1

The Federal Government has certified, through the Social Security Administration, that the next Supplemental Security Income payment will be given on November 1.

The USDA and its Food and Nutrition Service have also confirmed the list of states that will begin issuing food stamps on November 1. Some will only deliver SNAP benefits on November 1, ensuring that all recipients receive the same payday.

States that send full SNAP benefits on November 1:

  • Alaska,
  • Vermont
  • North Dakota
  • Rhode Island
  • U.S. Virgin Islands
