Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Reveals Charges Against Man Linked to Series of Road Rage Incidents

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn.— The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has stated that a man who was involved in several instances of road rage will be facing more charges.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said that from October 18 to October 21, they got several reports of angry drivers in the southern part of Lincoln County.

After doing more research, officers found that the person who did it was 45-year-old James William Moore from Lincoln County, Tennessee.

News 19 was told that Moore was arrested for two counts of vandalism, two counts of aggravated attack, illegal possession of a weapon, and acting in a disturbance. He was taken to jail in Lincoln County.

Deputies also said that Moore was found to have illegal items on him while he was being booked into jail. Because of this, Moore was also charged with bringing illegal items into prison.

The sheriff’s office says Moore was given a $105,000 bond for the charges above in Lincoln County, Tennessee. According to deputies, Moore could be charged with more crimes in Lincoln County.

MCSO said that officers were called to the Hazel Green Walmart parking lot because of an incident. Moore was accused of following a victim, hitting their car, and firing a gun at the victim.

The police said Moore is waiting to be sent back to Madison County to face criminal charges.
