2 min read

The Monmouth College Fighting Scots beat Knox College 49–0 on Saturday in the 135th Turkey Bowl, which was held on the Knox College site. The Scots finish the regular season with an 8-2 record, their 25th straight win in the series. They were in second place in the Midwest Conference with an 8-1 record. Unfortunately, Monmouth did not get an at-large bid into the expanded Division 3 playoff game. They found out late Saturday night that they would not be able to do that. The Scots will go to the Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl on Saturday in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for the third year in a row as the runner-up in their conference. For the second year in a row, they will play St. Norbert College. And again this season, Norbert came in second place in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. SID at Monmouth College Nathan Baliva talked about the at-large bid process and the bowl game that is coming up.

The Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Raabe Stadium in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. You can listen to all the action live on your home for Fighting Scots football at AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM, or live online at radiomonmouth.com. at 10:35 with the pregame show.
