BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. — The victim of a tragic automobile accident that occurred on Friday on United States Highway 52 in Moncks Corner has been identified by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.
It was stated that Mrs. Tasha Pope, who is 34 years old and lives in Moncks Corner, was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer that was involved in an accident on the highway at approximately 7:35 in the morning. Her death was confirmed at the scene of the incident.
Investigators from the Moncks Corner Police Department and the Coroner’s Office are continuing their investigation into the incident.
