Deputies in Gordon County say a replacement teacher got into a fight with a student and is now facing charges.

In the fourth grade, an adult and a student at Swain Elementary School got into a fight on Friday, according to a crime report.

Olivia Forrest, the 22-year-old replacement teacher, was finally caught by police and charged with simple battery and disturbing a public school.
