Authorities Seek Man Who Fled Hit-and-Run Crash on Foot in Oconto County

GILLETT, Wis. – Deputies in Oconto County need help from the public to find a person of interest who is thought to have run away on foot after a hit-and-run accident on Friday evening.

The Oconto County Sheriff’s Office says that around 7 p.m. on October 25, police were called to a crash involving a UTV and an SUV. Police say the accident took place in the Town of Gillett on Shawano Line Road at Nelson Road.

Obilio Thomas Sargento Robrelo was named as a person of interest by deputies during the probe. Robrelo is said to have run away on foot from the scene of the accident and has not been found.

Police say Robrelo lives in Gillett and is 32 years old.

The release didn’t say anything specific about possible injuries or the car Robrelo was said to be in.
