Race Day Live (Denver, CO) – Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced Friday that a grand jury had indicted ten persons for their alleged involvement in a cocaine trafficking organization that police say operated in Southern Colorado.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, the illicit activities occurred between February and October 2024. Officials claim that the group’s drug trafficking ring extended from Adams County to Prowers County.

According to the indictments, Louie Gonzales, Chester Gray, Chelsea Hall-Chavira, Joshua Hyatt, Juan Mendoza, Edward Monroe, Asia Ralstin, Carlos Robinson, Dayla White, and Steve Yang trafficked drugs in the neighborhood. These substances include fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, police collected several drugs during traffic stops, including one raid involving Joshua Hyatt’s automobile, where they discovered:
- 1,471.5 grams of fentanyl.
- 2,017.3 grams of methamphetamine.
- 125.5 grams of cocaine.
- 86.8 g of heroin.
During a car check in Trinidad, investigators discovered 10.98 kilos (24.2 pounds) of counterfeit M/30 Oxycodone pills containing fentanyl and 33 grams of meth.
Throughout the inquiry, officials claim to have recovered:
- More than 13.5 kilograms (29.76 pounds) of fentanyl and fentanyl pills
- Over 5.4 kilos (11.9 pounds) of methamphetamine.
- 111.9 g of heroin.
- 167.3 grams of cocaine.
According to investigators, Chelsea Hall-Chavira was driving the car that was halted during the Trinidad bust. According to the accusation, she accepted ownership of the pills and stated that she intended to transport them to Denver.
