An additional wonderful day is about to begin. To be fair, we are getting off to a somewhat cooler start. Overnight, the temperature in certain locations dropped into the upper 40s due to the clear skies and dry air. However, there is no need to be concerned. As the sun quickly warms us up in July, we will quickly recover to Monday’s highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees at some point during the afternoon.
As the day progresses, you can anticipate the arrival of breezy sea breezes that will bring the temperature down to 128 degrees, or possibly even 495 degrees. At the end of the day, this will bring the numbers back down to the low seventies at the beaches. Although it is not cold, it is also not warm. By the same token, we will be back in the middle of the 80s by the middle of the week, and the searing heat will arrive late in the week.
The southwest breezes will add to the humidity, which will cause high temperatures to reach low to mid-90s. Therefore, if you are working outside, it is essential to pay attention to staying hydrated, maintaining a cool temperature, and slowing down. Heat indices are expected to reach the low 100s once again by Friday.
There is a possibility that there will be a few isolated thunderstorms by late evening, but this approaching front is going to wait until the weekend to bring forth its rain.
However, this does not mean that the weekend is a washout. Even though it is too early to determine the timing, it is possible that the showers will be scattered or isolated. It is more likely that the temperature will decrease, and there will be a slight decrease in the humidity.
