Devin Moran and Kyle Bronson are facing penalties from DIRTcar Racing after failing tire tests conducted at Volusia Speedway Park. The tests, which were carried out by an independent lab, revealed that the tire samples from both drivers did not meet the required standards.
As a result of these violations, DIRTcar Racing has imposed fines and suspensions on Moran and Bronson. Kyle Bronson, who failed the tire test following an event on February 13, 2024, has been fined a total of $3,400. This includes a $1,000 fine, a $400 tire analysis fee, and a loss of $2,000 in prize money.
Additionally, Bronson has been suspended from all DIRTcar Racing sanctioned events for a period of 30 days.
Similarly, Devin Moran, whose tire sample also failed to meet the benchmarks after the same event on February 13, 2024, has been fined a total of $10,400.
This includes a $1,000 fine, a $400 tire analysis fee, and a loss of $9,000 in prize money. Moran, like Bronson, is suspended from all DIRTcar Racing sanctioned events for a period of 30 days.
It is important to note that any member found to be using illegal tires will face severe consequences, including disqualification, fines, suspension, loss of points, or any other action deemed appropriate by World Racing Group Supervisory Officials.
