RUBICON, Wis. – Wisconsin police say they have identified the drivers who were involved in a crash that injured a 23-year-old and sent him to the hospital with injuries that could kill him.

A press release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says that on November 19, at 5 p.m., officers were called to a crash on Goodland Road at County Road N in the town of Rubicon.

Officials say that a 2021 Infinity didn’t stop at a stop sign, so a passing 2024 Western Star semi-truck hit it. Both cars ended up in a ditch.

An Illinois man named Volodymr Kozmyn, 35, was driving the semi-truck. He was not hurt in the accident and was later freed from the scene of the accident.

It was found that the driver of the Infinity was 23-year-old Sultan Al Zein from Milwaukee. He was arrested for OWI and taken to the hospital, where his injuries are still considered life-threatening.
