Scott Presler isn’t your typical Trump supporter — he’s not the suit-wearing, beer-drinking, MAGA hat type you might expect.
But he’s determined to turn New Jersey red after playing a key role in helping Donald Trump win Pennsylvania.
Presler focused on low-propensity voters in Pennsylvania, encouraging groups like truckers, hunters, and even the Amish to register and vote Republican. His efforts paid off, helping secure Pennsylvania for Trump in the last election.
Now in his mid-30s, Presler came out after the Pulse nightclub shooting in 2016, which killed 49 people.
Around that time, he worked as a regional field director for the Republican Party of Virginia for about a year. He also knocked on doors and registered voters for Trump’s 2016 campaign.
Having grown up in Virginia Beach as the son of a U.S. Navy captain, Presler recognized Pennsylvania’s importance in securing a Republican victory.
His strategic approach and hard work helped deliver the state to Trump. Now, he’s turning his focus to New Jersey’s upcoming gubernatorial race, hoping to replicate that success.
Presler has already started hosting town halls and organizing meetings across New Jersey.
Expect to hear his name often as the governor’s race heats up — he’s likely to play a major role in the outcome.
