Race Day Live Governor Sarah Sanders started her 2026 re-election campaign in January, launching her first TV commercial and raising over $1 million in a matter of weeks.
Sanders held fundraisers in Little Rock and Jonesboro, where she collected significant contributions to support her campaign.
“I am thankful for the strong support as we start my re-election campaign. We’ve made Arkansas a great place to live and work, but there’s still a lot to do,” Sanders shared.
“We’re facing a crucial time in our history, defending freedom and protecting what we love about our state and country. I’m working closely with President Trump as we push forward with a bold, conservative agenda.”
As part of her re-election effort, Sanders announced four key staff members who will help lead her campaign.
They include Jordan Powell as Campaign Manager, Chris Caldwell as Senior Advisor, Cathy Lanier as Finance Director, and Megan Turner as Director of Accounting and Compliance.
Powell, who has worked as a campaign strategist for various political campaigns across the country, previously served as director of public affairs in Sanders’ office.
Caldwell, the owner of Caldwell Consulting, managed Sanders’ successful 2022 campaign and has deep experience in Arkansas politics.
Lanier, a top political fundraiser, led the fundraising for Sanders’ 2022 campaign and has worked with many other Arkansas politicians.
