Race Day Live – Chris O’Donnell, a fitness guru with over 840,000 social media followers, died Saturday at the age of 31.
The content creator’s death was confirmed in an online obituary.
The cause of death for O’Donnell was not revealed in the obituary, but the Maricopa County medical examiner verified to People that the social media star died from a gunshot to the head.
His death was declared as suicide.
O’Donnell, also known as Creeohdee, had nearly a million TikTok followers and received over 28 million likes for his motivating fitness videos.
He had over 240,000 dedicated Instagram followers.
The social media star’s final TikTok post was a video of him delivering a poignant speech at his brother’s wedding.
In the video, which has now been made private in the aftermath of his death, O’Donnell stated that he was “reminiscing on old memories” and felt obliged to share the tender moment.
“One of my proudest moments as a brother, being able to send these two off into the next chapter of their lives,” he added of the 7-minute clip.
O’Donnell was less active on Instagram, and his last post was in November 2024.
Before his untimely demise, the fitness expert described himself as a “very solitary person,” frequently sharing his mental health difficulties with admirers in order to “help others along their own path.”
