How to Make Coleslaw Like Kfc It’s Easy and Tastes Great!

This fake KFC coleslaw recipe is one that I like to use when I’m making fried chicken. You can also bring this meal to a picnic or a big get-together. Pretty much the same as the restaurant’s, this recipe is very easy to follow. These things are what you will need:

How to make it:

  • 4 cups of cabbage shreds
  • 1/4 cup of buttermilk
  • A quarter cup of mayo
  • Twenty-five milliliters of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 2 and a half teaspoons of white vinegar
  • One-half teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 cup of carrots shreds
  • 1/2 tablespoon of grated onion

Put the cabbage, onions, and carrots in a medium-sized bowl and mix them.

Add the sugar, lemon juice, white vinegar, salt, and pepper to a small bowl. Then add the buttermilk and stir until everything is mixed.

Cover and put in the fridge for at least one hour before serving or for up to three days. The dressing should be poured over the veggies and mixed in. Tip: Because the coleslaw makes water, this mixture will be very juicy. If you want a drier coleslaw, just drain off the extra water, or use a tilted spoon to serve the coleslaw. Have fun!

Note: This recipe is easy to double, and you can even make it ahead of time if you need to bring something to a big party.

This goes well with fried chicken and fries.
