In a thrilling matchup, the New York Knicks secured their fourth consecutive victory by defeating the Golden State Warriors with a score of 119-112. Led by Jalen Brunson’s impressive performance of 34 points and supported by Miles McBride’s career-high 29 points, the Knicks dominated the court throughout the game.
Right from the start, the Knicks took control of the game, establishing a commanding 18-4 lead early on and maintaining their advantage until the final buzzer.
Coach Tom Thibodeau praised the team’s resilience, emphasizing their collective effort and commitment to defence, rebounding, and ball movement.
Josh Hart also played a pivotal role, recording a triple-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists while showcasing exceptional toughness and determination.
Despite the Warriors’ efforts, with Stephen Curry scoring 27 points and Trayce Jackson-Davis contributing 19 points and 10 rebounds, they couldn’t overcome the Knicks’ relentless performance.
Although the Warriors staged a comeback in the fourth quarter, narrowing the deficit to four points, they ultimately fell short, unable to seize the lead at any point in the game.
For the Knicks, Donte DiVincenzo added 18 points to bolster their offensive firepower, while McBride’s stellar defensive efforts, particularly against Curry, played a crucial role in stifling the Warriors’ scoring opportunities.

The absence of forward OG Anunoby, sidelined due to a flare-up of his elbow injury, provided McBride with an opportunity to shine in his tenth career start. McBride rose to the occasion, delivering an outstanding performance on both ends of the court.
