Three people were stabbed in east London: a two-year-old boy, a young girl, and a woman. A guy has been charged with attempted murder.

There will be a court hearing on Monday for Kulvinder Ram, 48, of First Avenue, Dagenham.

At 5:35 p.m. on Friday, police were called to a side street in Dagenham. There they found the woman in her 30s with two children, a girl aged 8 and a boy aged 2.

Four people were hurt, but the Metropolitan Police say none of their injuries were life-threatening. They are all in the hospital.

Met Police said that everyone engaged knew each other.

After the stabbing, Det Supt Lewis Basford said, “This is a truly shocking attack, and I want to thank the people in this area for their help and patience while we deal with this.”

“A crime scene will stay in place for a while while our officers do important work, and you will see more police in the area over the next few days.”

“If you are worried about something or know something that could help the police, please talk to an officer or call 101.”
