Former NASCAR Truck Series champion Brett Moffitt, who clinched the title in 2018, has secured a racing opportunity for the 2024 season.
During his championship-winning campaign, Moffitt raced for Hattori Racing Enterprises, claiming victory in six races.
Since then, he has competed for various teams, including GMS Racing, Niece Motorsports, AM Racing, Rackley WAR, and Front Row Motorsports in the Truck Series. In the previous season, he transitioned to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, running full-time.
In the 2023 season, Moffitt made just one start in the NASCAR Truck Series, driving for Front Row Motorsports and winning at Talladega Superspeedway. However, he has yet to participate in any races in the 2024 season.
Now, Moffitt has finalized a deal to drive the No. 1 truck for TRICON Garage in multiple races this season. His debut race will be at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS on May 4.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity, Moffitt stated, “I’ve been eager to get back behind the wheel and I’ve been looking for the right team that can consistently compete for wins.” He acknowledged TRICON’s competitiveness and looks forward to piloting the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.
