There will still be showers and thunderstorms across the state tonight. There were also a number of Flash Flood Warnings for burn scars in different parts of the state and beyond. The state will continue to be affected by these storms and precipitation until the late hours.
There will be heavy rain for the rest of the week and into the weekend, which makes flash floods more likely. Most of New Mexico will have temperatures that are close to normal through the weekend.
Next week, temperatures are projected to go up again. We can also expect the weather to be much drier across the state. But some places may still have isolated showers and storms in the afternoon and evening.
