Not Again! Another Stormy Monday Is Ruining Plans

Two weeks after tornadoes inflicted death and destruction on Alabama, the threat of bad weather returns early this week.

The state is under varying risks of severe storms and possible tornadoes, but all of Alabama could be a target.

According to WTVY First Alert Chief Meteorologist David Paul, the best chance of storms in southeast Alabama is midday on Monday.

The Storm Prediction Center placed the region on a Level 3 Enhanced Risk of dangerous weather.

A March 15 storm system more potent than the approaching one spawned over a dozen tornadoes in the state, killing three people.

One of those twisters touched down in Pike County, damaging several buildings, including a Troy community center. The tornado did not kill or injure anyone.
