Oklahoma City Woman Arrested for Throwing Rock Off I-35 Bridge; Damaging Other Cars

Race Day Live , ( Oklahoma City, OK) – An Oklahoma City woman is facing felony charges after allegedly throwing a rock off an I-35 bridge on Christmas Day, damaging a vehicle’s windshield and alarming other drivers.

Incident Details

The incident occurred around noon on Christmas Day, according to a probable cause affidavit. Amber Davis was seen on the bridge at Southeast 29th Street, where she allegedly threw a rock that struck a vehicle traveling northbound on I-35.

The rock shattered the vehicle’s windshield, sending shards of glass into the car. Fortunately, the driver was not injured but reported the incident immediately after circling back to the bridge.

Witness Account

A witness, Mara English, called the police after observing the incident.

“There was a female figure with a coat and hood. She raised her arms in the air and threw something down,” English said.

English noted the significant damage to the vehicle:

“It wasn’t shattered to where it was broken through, but it was cracked all the way through.”
