Metro Nashville Police Department says one guy was shot and killed Saturday night at an apartment complex off of Briley Parkway in Nashville.

The 33-year-old Danny House Jr. was shot around 11 p.m. as he walked up to the apartment of a friend at 3301 Creekwood Dr., according to police. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center by paramedics, but he did not make it.

Police from the homicide unit and TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) worked all night on the case and are still looking for tips. Police say they are looking into a possible drug-related motivation.

Crime Stoppers can be reached at 615-742-7463 if you know anything about the shooting. People who call Crime Stoppers can stay anonymous and could get up to $5,000 in cash.
