Pam Bondi Pressures Jasmine Crockett to Apologize Over Tesla Remarks

The conflict between Attorney General Pam Bondi and Rep. Jasmine Crockett has intensified, with Bondi demanding that Crockett apologize to Tesla shareholders for her criticism of the automaker.

The issue began when Crockett supported #TeslaTakedown, a movement organizing peaceful protests against Elon Musk’s electric vehicle company.

Bondi addressed the situation on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo, warning that Crockett should “tread very carefully.”

Crockett later appeared on MSNBC, clarifying that she never “promoted violence whatsoever.” However, Bondi wasn’t finished.

During an appearance on Hannity that same evening, Sean Hannity played a clip where Crockett stated during a #TeslaTakedown livestream, “On March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”

Hannity also highlighted another clip where Crockett said Sen. Ted Cruz should be “knocked over the head, like hard.”

Bondi then commented that Crockett’s words had real consequences, referencing the discovery of three explosive devices at a Tesla showroom in Texas.

“And what happened after she said that about Elon Musk—she’s a Texan—and in her home state, after she said that, this morning, three explosive devices were found in Austin, Texas,” Bondi said.

Bondi called on Crockett to apologize to Tesla shareholders and denounce the violence. “She must apologize immediately, not only to all Texans, but to our country and the American shareholders of Tesla because she is promoting violence,” Bondi insisted.

Bondi also suggested that Crockett could face censure by Congress for her remarks about Cruz. “She’s using her public platform to increase her followers and significance while threatening lives and safety,” Bondi claimed.

“She’s encouraging violence in our country. Think of the lives that could have been at risk in Texas because of her words,” Bondi added.

Hannity then asked if there are “laws against making terroristic threats,” to which Bondi repeated her warning: “Again, words have consequences. And she does need to tread very carefully.”
