Race Day Live In a recent operation, a Pennsylvania man and an Ohio woman were arrested and charged with felony drug offenses after a traffic stop on Interstate 70 in Guernsey County.
The deputies pulled over a silver Cadillac SUV near milepost 184. During the stop, deputies noticed suspicious signs from the three people in the vehicle.
To help investigate, they brought in K9 Jax, who indicated the presence of narcotics.
After searching the SUV, authorities found about 224 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 30 grams of suspected fentanyl, and materials connected to the manufacturing of drugs.

This led to the arrest of Joseph Toth, 57, from Pennsylvania. He was charged with five felony offenses, including aggravated trafficking in drugs, trafficking in fentanyl, and tampering with evidence.
Aleksa Pietech, 30, from Tiltonsville, Ohio, was also arrested. She faces two first-degree felonies, including aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound.
Sheriff Jeffrey Paden expressed gratitude to the Marshall County Drug Task Force for their support in the ongoing investigation.
