NEW YORK (RACE DAY LIVE) –

A Queens cosmetologist has been charged for allegedly injecting a client with unknown substances while claiming to provide Botox, collagen, and other treatments, prosecutors said Wednesday.

Fei Min, 41, was charged with assault, unauthorized practice, and reckless endangerment. Prosecutors said she was not licensed to perform such treatments.

According to court documents, Min ran Princess Beauty on Union Street in Flushing, advertising beauty treatments at her salon. A 57-year-old woman began visiting the business in 2021, believing she was receiving Botox, stem cell, and collagen injections.

The woman returned on July 18, and Min injected another unknown substance to try to reduce the swelling and pain. A month later, she came back for more treatments, including microneedling and injections. Instead of relief, she experienced more swelling, bleeding, burning, and scarring.
