Repeat Offender Arrested in Blount County Drug Bust With Meth; K-9 Units Used in Bust

Race Day Live (Blount County, AL) – The Snead Police Department reported on Saturday that they had arrested a repeat offender in a drug bust. An investigation is currently taking on in Blount County.

The Snead Police Department’s Facebook page reports that Chief Hathcock, Reserve Officer Williams, and K-9 Rango stopped a car on Saturday after the driver broke traffic laws.

Donny Chambless, the driver, was found to be in possession of 21 grams of methamphetamine when officers searched the vehicle.

Chambless was detained by the officers and is currently being held in the Blount County Jail on charges related to prohibited narcotics.

Two months prior, Chambless had been pulled over by the same group of officers. During that traffic stop, the officers found 20 grams of methamphetamine.
