Sentencing Hearing for Intoxicated Driver Who Murdered Four Waupaca County Siblings

Waupaca, Wisconsin – The 47-year-old Wisconsin man convicted of killing four Waupaca County siblings in a drunken driving accident just before Christmas 2023 appears in court for a sentencing hearing.

Scott Farmer pleaded no contest and was found guilty of one count of operating while intoxicated and four counts of homicide by impaired operation of a vehicle at a plea hearing on August 7.

Farmer, from Neenah, was driving west in the eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 10 when he collided with another car head-on. The crash killed four siblings, Daniel (25), Fabian (23), Lilian (14), and Daniela (9) Gonzalez, who were on their way to Culver’s for their weekly Saturday meal after shopping.

According to reports, law enforcement discovered Farmer at the collision scene with an open bottle of vodka beside him.
