The USDA has certified the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments for Colorado in September. Colorado will send food stamps from September 1 to September 10, 2024.
Colorado will arrange paydays using the recipient’s Social Security number. For example, if your Social Security number ends with 1, your SNAP payment will be due on September 1, 2024.
SNAP payment dates in Colorado for September
Citizens who are eligible for Food Stamps may get payments of up to $291 (individual) on the following paydays. Families of four can get up to $943, and families of eight up to $1,751.
- If your SSN ends in 1, your benefits will begin on the first of the month.
- If your SSN ends in 2, your benefits will be available on the second of the month.
- Benefits are accessible to persons whose SSN ends in 3 on the third of each month.
- When your SSN finishes in 4, your benefits will become available on the 4th of the month.
- If your SSN ends in 5, your benefits will be released on the fifth of the month.
- Benefits for SSNs ending in 6 are made available on the sixth of each month.
- If your SSN ends in 7, your benefits will be available on the seventh of the month.
- If your Social Security number ends in 8, your benefits begin on the eighth of the month.
- Benefits for SSNs ending in 9 will be released on the ninth of each month.
- If your Social Security number ends in zero, your benefits will begin on the tenth of the month.
SNAP members in Colorado will receive a $60 bonus
Aside from obtaining USDA funding, the Colorado Department of Human Services has established the Colorado SNAP Produce Bonus. Citizens who already receive Food Stamps are eligible for a monthly bonus of up to $60.
There is no need to apply or register. All you need to do is visit an approved market. You can spend up to $20 on approved veggies and fruits. Then you will receive a match of up to $20 each purchase, with a monthly cap of $60.
Once you receive the bonus, you can use it at any SNAP-eligible store to purchase any SNAP-eligible food or item. The Produce Bonus program’s entire list of permitted marketplaces may be seen at https://cdhs.colorado.gov/snap-produce-bonus. There are numerous markets available, including:
