Race Day Live A tragic fire broke out in Louisiana, claiming the life of a woman in a camper. The incident happened around noon on January 22 on Charlie Davis Road in Singer.
Members of Beauregard Fire District #1 responded quickly, but the fire had already caused significant damage.
State Fire Marshal Chief Bryan Adams confirmed that his team is actively investigating the cause of the fire. While details are limited, officials are urging residents to follow important fire safety guidelines, especially during the colder months.
Chief Adams shared several tips to prevent fires:
- Always plug space heaters directly into a wall socket, never into an extension cord or power strip.
- Keep space heaters at least three to five feet away from anything flammable.

- Never leave open flames or space heaters unattended.
- Install at least one working smoke alarm in your home.
