Wakefern Food Corp. members recently donated $20,000 in ShopRite gift cards to the TCRC Community Healing Center in Hunting Park.
TCRC will distribute $500 ShopRite gift cards to local families affected by the January 31 plane crash that killed seven people and severely damaged or destroyed multiple homes.
Forty families displaced or directly impacted by the tragedy will receive the gift cards, which were donated by the owners of Wakefern-operated ShopRite and Fresh Grocer stores, including the McMenamin, Brown, Collins, Ammons, Burns, Zallie, and Collins families.
