JR Motorsports has officially signed Andrew “Bubba” Pollard, a seasoned short-track racer, for his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut on March 30th at Richmond Raceway.
At 37 years old, Pollard boasts an impressive track record with over 100 late-model victories, including a notable win at the All-American 400 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Driving the No. 88 car, Pollard’s debut will be sponsored by Rheem.
To prepare for the transition to heavier stock cars, Pollard will also participate in the ARCA Menards Series event at Five Flags Speedway in Florida ahead of his Xfinity Series debut.
Expressing his excitement, Pollard stated, “I don’t know what to expect as it’s all very new to us, but I’m very thankful for the opportunity that Rheem and JR Motorsports have given me. I hope we can make the most of it.”
