When a natural disaster strikes, the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) may enable states to provide SNAP replacements. If you were recently impacted by extreme weather in Oregon, you may still be eligible for Food Stamp benefits.
For your information, some Oregonians have lost all or a portion of the food they purchased using food stamps. As a result, if you used your SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits to purchase the food you lost, you could be entitled to replacement in Oregon. Of course, replacements are only available to those harmed by last month’s harsh weather.
