Collin Zier, 38, of Lena, has been charged with one felony count of child pornography (moving depiction), the Stephenson County Sheriff’s Department reported on Friday. He was arrested at 7:25 p.m. Thursday at his Lena home.

According to the sheriff’s department, an Orangeville School District official reported a staff talking with a pupil outside of school. An investigation began, which ended in the charge against Zier.

In a news statement issued Friday, the sheriff’s department indicated that it believes there may be additional current or former Orangeville School District kids with information on this inquiry and has asked them to contact the sheriff’s investigations office.
